Pricing and order handling

Prices are in Pounds Sterling net, without engagement, exclusive of VAT and sales taxes and ex-works.

Advanced Chemical Intermediates does it’s utmost to ensure prices stay current but reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. Written price quotations, when requested, are valid for 30 days.

All accounts are net cash within 30 days of receipt of goods. No discounts apply unless included in written quotation. Invoices are payable in full and no deductions can be made unless a credit note has previously been issued. Overseas buyers are responsible for their bank and clearance charges and no deductions for these are allowed. Title to goods shall remain with Advanced Chemical Intermediates and no property therein, whether legal or equitable shall pass to the customer until payment in full of the price and other charges has been received by us.

Orders, in principle, are shipped on the day received. Quotations from stock are subject to stock remaining unsold. If material requires synthesis or purchase, delivery times are issued on quotation. Quoted deliveries are subject to delivery of materials to Advanced Chemical Intermediates Ltd and successful synthesis.

If you have any special requirements, or you require written confirmation of your order, delivery at a special address or a consolidated delivery, please mention this clearly on your order. Any special packaging or special freight methods requested, or otherwise, will be subject to an additional charge, which will be added to the invoice.

Please contact our sales office before sending goods back to us. Advanced Chemical Intermediates will not accept returned goods without the prior authorisation of our sales department. Please request a ‘returned goods form’, which should be attached to the goods.

If you have placed an incorrect order or want to return products, we will require a ‘returned goods fee’ of 20% of the net value of the goods, with a minimum value of £15.00. Transport costs are also at your expense in this case. Under no circumstances should chemicals be posted.

Specification change and reasonable variation from listed values should not form the basis of any dispute. We do not accept the return of any order where customers impose their own quality parameters unless these have been stipulated on the original order and agreed by Advanced Chemical Intermediates in writing.

Advanced Chemical Intermediates Ltd considers that its customers are suitably qualified to work with chemicals.

Please note that there may be local regulations in your country, that may influence the above written terms & conditions. Therefore, please contact your local distributor or Advanced Chemical Intermediates direct for more details.

Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited uses

You may use our site only for lawful purposes.  You may not use our site:

You also agree:

Interactive services

We may from time to time provide interactive services on our site.

Where we do provide any interactive service, we will provide clear information to you about the kind of service offered, if it is moderated and what form of moderation is used (including whether it is human or technical).

We will do our best to assess any possible risks for users (and in particular for children) from third parties when they use any interactive service provided on our site and we will decide in each case whether it is appropriate to use moderation of the relevant service (including what kind of moderation to use) in light of those risks.  However, we are under no obligation to oversee, monitor or moderate any interactive service we provide on our site, and we expressly exclude our liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of any interactive service by a user in contravention of our content standards, whether the service is moderated or not.

The use of any of our interactive services by a minor is subject to the consent of their parent or guardian. We advise parents who permit their children to use an interactive service that it is important that they communicate with their children about their safety online, as moderation is not fool proof. Minors who are using any interactive service should be made aware of the potential risks to them.

Where we do moderate an interactive service, we will normally provide you with a means of contacting the moderator, should a concern or difficulty arise.

Content standards

These content standards apply to any and all material which you contribute to our site (contributions), and to any interactive services associated with it.
